Wer ins Splitboarden einsteigen will oder nach neuem Material Ausschau hält oder einfach in einer grandiosen Bergwelt auf Tour mit Gleichgesinnten gehen will, ist beim Splitboard Event „Climb the Mountain“ vom 27.-29.1.2017 genau richtig. Eingeschneit auf über 2000 Metern Höhe liegt der Berggasthof Piz Buin am Silvretta Stausee, der von Freitag bis Sonntag die Basis für den größten Produkttest rund um Splitboards bildet. Dieses Jahr wird sogar ein Ehrengast dabei sein: Freeride Weltmeisterin Aline Bock stellt Ihren Film WAY EAST persönlich vor! Rund 60 Snowboarder waren letztes Jahr begeistert von dem Angebot an Freeride Runs, der Unterkunft, dem Essen und dem hauseigenen Lift, wo am Samstag im Schnitt jeder sechs bis acht verschiedene Splitboards, diverse Bindungen und Zubehör ausprobieren kann. Möglich ist das durch die starke Präsenz einiger Splitboardbrands und das eingespielte Schrauberteam von Splitboards Europe mit zwölf Jahren CTM-Erfahrung. Das neue umfassende Programm wird jeden Snowboarder interessieren: MountainEXPO, LVS-Lehrgang, Freeride Filme, Splitboard-Race und das Gewinnspiel. Nach dem Testtag geht es sonntags auf eine Traumtour in die Silvretta, wahlweise mit Guide. Camppreis ab 220 €.

Biggest Splitboard Testevent “Climb the Mountain”

Imagine: You wake up at 2032 m high and when you look out of the window you see only the silvretta peaks …and splitboarder. In January 2017 again more than 60 splitboarder will come together to celebrate the “Climb the Mountain” event. The CTM is being held since 2006 and is well known for the easy atmosphere and the MountainEXPO featuring the latest testing material of the partner companies including more than 80 Splitboards. Getting to know other fellow alpinists, testing new products, take part in the fun competition if you like, join the avalanche clinic and the freeride cinema. Based in the comfortable Berggasthof Piz Buin we enjoy good food, sauna and an extraordinary location. On Sunday a guided tour at Silvretta is planned. Prize for the weekend 219 EUR/241CHF.
